New Generation is hiring an experienced Before and After School Age Lead Teacher to join our growing team of educators!

The work schedule will work in sync with the Norfolk Public Schools schedule. Typical hours will be 6:50 am to 9:30 am and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Those with flexibility to work occasional half days for early dismissal and full days for school closure is strongly preferred.

• Works with Director and teachers to create a team approach to a high-quality school-age learning experience.
• Maintains lesson plans aligned with center curriculum.
• Maintains a clean, organized and clutter free environment.
• Children need to be supervised by sight and sound and all children need to be accounted for at all times. Frequent counts, visual checks, and constant focus on the needs of the children are requirements for this position.
• Engages children in respectful, meaningful and interactive conversations and experiences throughout the day.
• Willing to drive for the company is also a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
